Hallfield School
3D Lockers installed new school lockers at the end of Summer 2019 for Hallfield School in Edgbaston. The school wanted a mix of both internal metal lockers and outdoor lockers to store coats, PE bags and books. School lockers are a great way of keeping corridors and classrooms neat & tidy. More schools are opting for lockers as a storage solution over traditional coat pegs. Laminate Lockers
The lockers needed to be a suitable height for junior school pupils to use, while also being strong enough to withstand everyday use. Solid Grade Laminate Door Lockers were supplied and due to the quantity we were able to make a bespoke height locker at 1350H x 305W x 467D. This size is ideal for school children to store coats, bags and books.
Laminate lockers have a steel carcass and the SGL door is 10mm thick making it strong and hard wearing for years to come.
The school chose to have a chequerboard style door colour layout with Lime and Red Dynasty Arpa Laminate doors. You can view these images in our gallery section. Instead of key operated locks we made special finger holes in the doors with magnetic catch locks. This is particularly useful in schools so keys can not become lost.
Plastic Lockers
The school also required a quantity of storage lockers for use outdoors. Our plastic lockers fit the bill and were installed along an outside wall. 600H plastic lockers are supplied as single units, they can then be stacked one on top of the other. The total overall height is 1200mm making it easy for junior school pupils to reach.
Plastic lockers are designed for use outdoors and are weatherproof. They also come with weather resistant locks. Plastic storage lockers are a great way to maximise use of space outside or if you are short on space inside school.
