This steel cabinet securely stores paints, solvents, chemicals, and other dangerous substances used in your workplace, ensuring compliance with the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations. It conforms to Health & Safety Executive Guide HSG51 and DSEAR 2002.
The cabinet comes with GHS signage, including a primary "harmful/irritant" label and additional labels for easy swapping based on the chemicals being stored. It is the employer's responsibility to assess the risks and safely store hazardous substances to minimize workplace danger. Best Practice - Cabinets supplied without removeable sumps. Extracting a heavily laden sump is both dangerous and unsafe. There is a risk of contamination from contents of the sump onto operatives. Elite cabinets are made with an integral leak proof base sump. Spillages should be removed with the use of a suitable absorbant material or siphon pump.
